Mississippi State Football: Predicting the Breakout Stars of the Spring

Cornerback Lashard Durr

Lashard Durr was originally a 2014 signee with the Mississippi State Football team. He ended up enrolling at a JUCO school to get himself eligible the final two seasons of his career at the collegiate level.

Durr is going to have an opportunity to play immediately this season, and the spring is where he will have the first chance to make a really strong impression on the coaching staff. The Bulldogs have a talented receiving corps, so if he does well in spring practices against those guys, you could hear a lot more about him in the fall.
