Dan Mullen’s Costume is Optimus Prime
Optimus Prime is the leader of the good side of the Transformers, the Autobots. The Transformers turn themselves from cars, trucks, planes, construction equipment, and all sorts of things to huge alien robots who do battle. The Decepticons are looking to take over the planet Earth with the destruction of their home planet Cybertron. The Autobots have made it their duty to protect the citizens of Earth from the evil Decepticons.
Dan Mullen has taken the Mississippi State Bulldogs from perpetual cellar dweller to perpetual bowl team. In 2014, Mullen led the Bulldogs to their highest finish in the division since the 1999 season, and if the Bulldogs can win their remaining four games or at least 3 of thee last four, the Bulldogs will continue to be a nationally relevant program for consecutive years.
It’s a remarkable transformation for Mississippi State. With that in mind, it’s only natural that Dan Mullen goes trick or treating as Optimus Prime.
