Kevin Sumlin is Shrek

Remember how all the villagers were scared of Shrek at the beginning of the first movie? And remember how nobody was scared of the giant green ogre by the time the movie was over?

Well that is pretty much Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M Aggies at the start of every season. The Aggies always look great the first four or five games of the year, but then they end up being a team that almost every other team in the conference can’t wait to play.

The same thing is happening again this season to the Aggies. They looked great in their first five games of the season and then they ran into Alabama and have looked like an FCS school ever since. I just wish Mississippi State had played them after they had been exposed to their kryptonite.
