Where is Malik Newman?

Malik Newman has been described as a “one and done” player for Mississippi State. And unless something really weird happens, this is going to be the only year we get to see Malik Newman wearing the Maroon and White.

There are already 2016 mock drafts available. When I scanned through many of them, almost all of them had Newman getting picked toward the bottom part of the lottery.

My guess is Boston will be somewhere around the bottom part of the lottery, so let’s say he goes there. He’ll be in the first year of a new contract for the Celtics, and the Celtics will have made their way to the top half of the Eastern Conference. Mat sound like a lot for Malik to pull off, but have you seen the Eastern Conference?
