The most notable exception in my book is Fred Smoot. He had 10 interceptions in 2 years. Darius Slay also had a nice career. There were some other players mentioned as well, but I don’t think there was a whole lot to argue about outside those four players.

I did have a few people who mentioned Kenny Ray Johnson. He played for 10 years in the NFL. If I went by how a player’s NFL career was, then this list would have been completely different. That’s not the point. This was to determine who was the best while they were in Starkville.

In all, I think this is a pretty good list for corners. I made a pretty big error though in my next position group.
