Vanderbilt is C-3PO

C-3PO is a bright intelligent droid that does a lot for whoever happens to be his overseer in the Star Wars universe. He doesn’t bring anything to the team in terms of a fight, but he has his usefuleness.

Vandy tried to take the role of another chararacter there for a few years under James Franklin, but now they are back to being the smart school in the conference. The Commodores boost the GPA, and give the SEC an excuse to say they care about academics, but they aren’t much more than a doormat in the landscape that is the SEC.
