The thirteen-year head coach of the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders program is a veteran head coach, with Southeastern Conference ties, can provide a recruiting base that can give the Bulldogs local products to develop the program to the place that all Bulldogs fans want this program to be.

Davis, Jr. has accomplished a record of 305-200 (.604), and went as far as the NIT Quarterfinals. Though Davis isn’t the most accomplished head coach, he does have Mississippi State ties as he is an alumnus of the school. His father, Kermit Davis, Sr., was also head coach of the Bulldogs from 1971-1977. So he has the Mississippi State pedigree to take this program to heart.
