8. Can Florida Beat Florida State?

Will Muschamp was fired on Monday, but that doesn’t mean the Gators are doomed to lose the rest of their games. In 2004, Ron Zook was fired a month before the season ended but his team still beat FSU.

Florida had their first game of the year vs. Idaho canceled so they are 5-4 with just two games remaining. They’ll get bowl-eligible against Eastern Kentucky this week and have nothing to lose in the Sunshine state rivalry.

A win for the Gators would be HUGE for Mississippi State, and the rest of America who is pulling against the Seminoles. If UF can beat Georgia, they can beat FSU.
