1. Will the SEC Get Two Teams in the College Football Playoff?

There are four SEC teams still alive: Alabama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Georgia. Granted Ole Miss and UGA – especially UGA’s chances of breaking the top four are slim to none, there is still a small chance.

The best-case scenario for two teams in is Bama and MSU winning out. When the new CFB rankings are released on Tuesday most expect State to be in the top four. With a game remaining against top 10 Ole Miss that should be enough to keep them in that elite group.

What we don’t know is how much the committee with value conference championships. That’s one thing it will be impossible for two teams from the SEC to achieve.
