Number 4: The LSU Tigers

I firmly believe the Tigers are going to take a major step backward. From everything we have heard so far, the Tigers are going to rely heavily on a freshman running back for most of their offense. No matter how talented he may be, that is a pretty tall order, especially for a running back. The Bulldogs will head to Baton Rouge the fourth week of the season for a chance to possibly run their record to 4-0 and make a major statement about where they are in college football.

Upset Chance: 25% Let me be honest, based off of what LSU has lost on offense, what Mississippi State is returning on offense and defense, I would normally put this game as the best chance for Mississippi State to pull an upset during the season. The reason I am not is because of the history of this series. I have tried to be completely rational when I compiled this list, but this is the game where I abandoned all logic. We just can’t seem to find a way to beat the Tigers, and we normally get run off the field when we play LSU. The history of this series makes me put this game at number 4 instead of number 1.
