Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Texas A&M Aggies score predictions

Last but not least, it's the Bulldogs vs the Aggies. Will another ranked A&M team topple in Starkville, or is Mississippi State too down this year to spring the upset?

Chase: Texas A&M is underrated with Mike Elko as their leader. Their defense has been a problem for their opponents this season, averaging under 25 points per game. Michael Van Buren Jr. is a bright spot for Mississippi State, but to replicate last week’s performance is a lot to ask for. Mississippi State loses 42-17

Reed: Can Mississippi State win this? They absolutely can, as they have come out and punched countless other Texas A&M teams in the mouth in previous years. However, A&M is far too talented up front, and I think that makes the difference early in the game. I think they jump out to a huge lead before Van Buren leads a comeback. State is getting close to their second win in my opinion, but they are just not quite there. Mississippi State loses 40-34

Andrew: I expect a great atmosphere in Starkville and for the Bulldogs to come out playing hard. However, I think this A&M team is a more serious threat than the previous overrated Aggies squads that State has managed to take down. Offensively, I don't think State can handle the A&M defensive front, and that will make points harder to come by. And I obviously don't trust the MSU defense. Mississippi State loses 37-19
