We should see a lot of points in these under the radar college football games.

Mississippi State football gets an interesting non-conference matchup with Toledo this week, but there are plenty of intriguing games to watch beyond the Bulldogs'. That includes matchups that may not get as much spotlight on them.

Here are three under the radar college football games to watch for Week 3...

Arizona State at Texas State

Thursday 6:30 PM CT on ESPN

Wanna have some fun on a Thursday night? Tune in to this one. Arizona State makes the less common "Power 4 to Group of 5" road trip to San Marcos to take on high-flying Texas State. ASU looks vastly improved after a 2-0 start with RB Cam Skattebo (who Mississippi State fans are unfortunately far too familiar with now...) bowling over defenses. Texas State is a trendy pick to be the G5's playoff representative and has one of the most entertaining offenses in the country. This game should be wild.

North Texas at Texas Tech

Saturday 11:00 AM CT on FS1

Last week we got an all-Air Raid matchup between Mike Leach's former programs, Texas Tech and Washington State. Well now Tech is involved in another all-Air Raid battle by hosting North Texas. Leach's former WR Eric Morris is in his second season as HC at North Texas, and Tech OC Zach Kittley got his start coaching learning under Morris and Kliff Kingsbury in Lubbock. UNT is currently lighting it up through the air with former Oklahoma and TCU QB Chandler Morris leading the offense. Tech struggled at Wazzu, but should do better against the Mean Green defense. However with the Red Raider defense looking porous, there should be plenty of points between both sides here.

Washington State at Washington

Saturday 2:30 PM CT on Peacock

I just can't quit the Air Raid ties. The aforementioned Wazzu travels to Seattle to face former Mississippi State and Mike Leach QB Will Rogers and the Washington Huskies in a very weird Week 3 Apple Cup. Both these teams are off to 2-0 starts to the year. QB John Mateer and the Cougs would love nothing more than to get revenge on a rebuilding Huskies squad who left them behind for the Big Ten. Jedd Fisch's team will have to get off to a much faster start this week if they want to handle the upset-minded Cougs.
