Georgia begins their quest for a third national championship in four years while Clemson looks to ascend back to the top of college football after a disappointing few seasons. Both teams should field fantastic defenses, but we'll be watching to see if the Tigers' offense has finally improved enough to keep pace with QB Carson Beck and the Bulldogs.

19 Miami at Florida

2:30 PM CT on ABC

How about a heated, in-state rivalry in Week 1? Miami and Florida don't always get together, but when they do, there's always fireworks. Transfer QB Cam Ward looks to lead what appears to be the most talented Miami roster in years to their first ACC title. But they'll begin their campaign in one of the most hostile environments in the country against a Gator team that knows it needs it needs a hot start if it's going to take a step forward this season. Both programs are under a ton of pressure entering this season, and if one thing's for certain, it's that pressure will only ramp up for the loser.

7 Notre Dame at 20 Texas A&M

6:30 PM CT on ABC

Two playoff hopeful teams square-off under the lights in College Station. Shemar Turner and Nic Scourton lead an elite Aggies' defensive line that's hoping to feast against an inexperienced and banged-up Notre Dame offensive line. But Notre Dame's own dominant defense should create plenty of problems for a new look A&M offense. This one should be a slugfest and a great primetime matchup.
