What's in store for the SEC in Week 2 of the college football season? Mississippi State heads out west for a late night duel with Arizona State, and elsewhere in the league, there's quite a few intriguing matchups.

Here's three must-watch SEC games for Saturday...

Arkansas at 16 Oklahoma State

Saturday 11:00 AM CT on ABC and ESPN+

Just three hours separate these programs that met regularly decades ago, but you've got to go all the way back to 1980 to find the last game between these programs. Oklahoma State is hoping to win the Big 12 and reach the playoff behind the legs of stud RB Ollie Gordon. Arkansas is trying to prove their offseason changes were in fact enough to turn around Sam Pittman's tenure. They've got their own dynamic run game led by QB Taylen Green. This should be a fun game in Stillwater.

South Carolina at Kentucky

Saturday 2:30 PM CT on ABC and ESPN+

I'm going to be completely honest. Calling this a "must-watch" game is being really generous to both of these programs and the likely quality level that will be put on the field. But it is the first SEC conference game of the year between two teams of somewhat similar calibers, so there's a decent chance it's at least competitive. I say similar calibers, but Kentucky undoubtedly looked significantly better than the Gamecocks last week. Still, history suggests a competitive game, and that's something.

14 Tennessee vs 24 NC State in Charlotte

Saturday 6:30 PM CT on ABC and ESPN+

How good is Tennessee? We'll get a great idea Saturday night when they take on NC State in Charlotte. QB Nico Iamaleava looked incredible last week, but he and the Vols were facing FCS Chattanooga. Coastal Carolina-transfer QB Grayson McCall and the Wolfpack were unimpressive agaisnt FCS Western Carolina, but it hasn't been uncommon for Dave Doeren's program to look sluggish against lesser competition. We'll see if NC State's usually strong defense can contain the Tennessee offense.
