Big deal. Another power ranking with Georgia on top. Sorry. It just can't be avoided. The Bulldogs are simply the gold standard of the sport right now, even after missing out on last year's playoff.

Replacing all-world TE Brock Bowers and slippery WR Ladd McConkey will be tough for the offense. However, fifth-year senior QB Carson Beck should have another big season in Athens after taking over as the starter last year.

Florida transfer RB Trevor Etienne will give the ground game some juice and there's no question that head coach Kirby Smart will have an elite defense. What's more, with the expanded playoff format, Georgia has a greater margin for error this year meaning that anyone who wants to win a National Championship will probably have to deal with the Bulldogs in 2024.
