Good luck Garrett Nussmeier. All you have to do is replace 2023 Heisman Trophy winner J.T. Daniels and play elite QB for a program with one of the most rabid and unreasonable fan bases in college football. That sounds fun.

What's more, Nussmeier has to do that without the two elite pass catchers, Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas JR. that Daniels had at his disposal. Thus, the LSU offense isn't going to be anywhere near as explosive this year as it was last fall.

The O-line should be a strength and the defense should be better than last season, though. What's more, the schedule sets up well for LSU with Bama, Ole Miss, and OU coming to Baton Rogue.
