Friday evening, the Mississippi State women’s basketball team is set to host an in-state foe, Mississippi Valley State Devilettes, as a final tune-up prior to the start of SEC play. The Bulldogs boast a solid 12-2 record after thriving through much of their non-conference schedule while MVSU has struggled to a 1-10 record.

While there are two instances of MVSU wins over MSU, it’s been a while since that’s happened and it seems unlikely that MVSU will find a way to beat the Bulldogs tonight. Last time these two teams played, Sam Purcell’s first Mississippi State women’s basketball team beat the Devilettes 107-47 during the 2022-2023 Mississippi State basketball season.

As Mississippi State wraps up its non-conference slate, here is the broadcast crew that is set to call the game:

This game is set to be broadcast (or live streamed, depending on how you want to define things pertaining to this technology) on SEC Network+. That means you can get a chance to watch the Bulldogs with ease (either online or on your TV, depending on how you choose to stream the game).

Folks watching the game through the SEC Network+ broadcast crew will get to watch Charlie Winfield as the play-by-play and Bart Gregory as the analyst for the game.

Mississippi State basketball fans who want to listen to the game instead of watching it can do so thanks to the MSU Radio Network or by going online to HailState On-Demand. If you're listening in, you'll get the chance to hear Jason Crowder handle the call.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Mississippi Valley State Devilettes will get the game started at 6:30 p.m. in the Hump. The Bulldogs should be able to cruise to an easy victory, so be sure to tune in for yet another big win for Purcell’s Mississippi State basketball team.
