The Bulldogs are incredibly thin going into Austin. With QB Blake Shapen done for the year, true freshman Michael Van Buren will start. Also out are DL Kalvin Dinkins and Kedrick Bingley-Jones, CBs Traveon Wright and DeAgo Brumfield, RB Keyvone Lee, safeties Chris Keys Jr. and Tyler Woodard, and WR Trent Hudson. WR Creed Whittemore is out for the remainder of the year, as he has chosen to take a redshirt. Bulldog safety Isaac Smith is listed as questionable for Saturday.

For the Longhorns, QB Quinn Ewers is questionable. If he cannot go, Arch Manning will start for the second-straight week. One of their top DBs, Derek Williams Jr., will be out.
