Injury report for Mississippi State vs Georgia
We won't have the first injury report for the game until Wednesday night, but it does seem as though safety Isaac Smith will be back available for Mississippi State after missing the last game. The biggest question for MSU is whether either or both of DL Kalvin Dinkins and Kedrick Bingley-Jones will be back in the lineup.
Georgia will likely remain without their top OL in Tate Ratledge. Fellow OL Jared Wilson is working to return, and DL Christian Miller is practicing after going down with injury last week.
Weather forecast for Athens on Saturday
We're still a few days out from knowing for sure, but the early forecast for Athens looks fantastic on Saturday. It's expected to be sunny with highs in the upper-70s, fantastic weather for a football game.
FPI prediction for Mississippi State vs Georgia
As you can probably imagine, ESPN's FPI ratings do not like State's chances much at all against UGA. FPI gives MSU just a 4.8% chance of pulling off the upset in Athens. But after this past weekend of college football, I'm not sure we can rule anything out.
Score prediction for Mississippi State vs Georgia
While I'd love to add Mississippi State to the growing list of teams to pull off massive upsets this season, I don't see it happening. Georgia is just far superior in every facet, and while it may be somewhat close for about a half, they'll win easily.
