EA Sports College Football 25 almost predicted the exact score two weeks ago when Mississippi State fell to Texas 35-13. The beloved video game was off by a touchdown, but they were correct in their prediction for the first time all season. It remains to be seen if they predict this game correct, but with Georgia being a massive favorite at home, I do believe that the game has correctly predicted the outcome.

Georgia wins comfortably over Mississippi State in EA CFB 25 simulation

EA predicts the Georgia Bulldogs to win 38-14 which appears to be accurate with the way both teams have played so far this season. Georgia jumped out to a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. State responded to cut the lead to seven, but Georgia once again pushed their lead out by 14. Georgia was leading 21-7 late in the second quarter, but Mississippi State responded with another touchdown to make it 21-14 at the halfway mark. However, the second half, particularly the fourth quarter, was dominated by Georgia. Georgia made a field goal to make it 24-14 heading into the final quarter. They scored two more touchdowns while holding State scoreless. I do believe that this can be an accurate representation of what happens on Saturday. If State plays like they did versus Texas, they can keep it close before the talented depth chart starts to show from Georgia.

EA CFB 25 sees rough day ahead for QB Michael Van Buren

Michael Van Buren had a horrific day passing in the simulation. The freshman completed only four passes on 12 attempts for 66 yards with one interception. However, he found some success in the running game. He rushed for 44 yards on seven attempts with one touchdown. Davon Booth was the only other State player who ran the ball. Booth rushed for 40 yards on eight attempts with one touchdown. If State can have this type of success along with Johnnie Daniels on Saturday, they might have a fighting chance heading into the second half. The defensive stats were not impressive as they only recorded three tackles for a loss as a team. Stone Blanton was the only player to record a sack for State. Also, just like the other simulations I have ran, Khamauri Rogers, led the team in tackles with seven in this game. Lastly, the biggest takeaway I saw in the simulation is how Georgia dominated State with its rushing attack. They rushed for 176 yards and four touchdowns on 32 attempts. I do expect this to be a big piece in Georgia's offensive game plan on Saturday.
