How will MSU’s defense handle Texas A&M’s playmakers?

Mississippi State’s defense has, on multiple occasions throughout the season, been vulnerable to explosive plays.

As the Bulldogs get set to take on Max Johnson, Ainias Smith, and a number of other talented Texas A&M Aggies playmakers, how will Matt Brock and Zach Arnett attempt to limit them?

Smith has shown he can be one of the most dynamic and electrifying wide receivers in the Southeastern Conference and so far this season he has 39 receptions for 652 yards and a touchdown.

But he isn’t the only offensive threat the Aggies have to offer. Evan Stewart has 37 receptions for 506 yards and four touchdowns.

On the ground, Texas A&M has Le’Veon Moss and Amari Daniels, who each have over 400 rushing yards on the season while also averaging over five yards per carry and have combined for eight touchdown runs this year.

This could conceivably be a major test for Mississippi State’s defense, led by linebackers Jett Johnson and Nathaniel Watson. How will the Bulldogs perform?
