Nine weeks into the season, what do Auburn fans think of the one and only Hugh Freeze?

It’s mostly positive. Many understand the situation. The ones who didn’t want him for non-football reasons in the first place are obviously using this time to pour fuel on the 4-loss fire.

Last week, Mississippi State had the second-lowest point total in an SEC football victory since Auburn beat Mississippi State 3-2, in 2008. Was that the peak of the rivalry between MSU and Auburn? Do you think Saturday has that sort of magic in store?

2008 was stupid. And let’s not forget that Auburn actually scored all five points in that one. The safety was actually just held in the end zone by an Auburn offensive lineman. Both teams played great defense that night.

That’s what we say, right?

Isn’t it funny how 2011 Alabama-LSU was 9-6 and it’s the greatest football game of all time, but subtract a few points and 2008 Auburn-Mississippi State is a joke? Solidarity in hating Alabama-LSU lovers?
