2015 Belk Bowl: Miss. State Bulldogs vs. NC State Wolfpack

One more memorable and thrilling moment for Dak Prescott with the Mississippi State football team. And, interestingly enough, we get another matchup between Mississippi State and NC State in a bowl game.

This time things took place a little closer to home for the Wolfpack.

On December 30, 2015 in Bank of America Stadium located in Charlotte, North Carolina, senior quarterback Dak Prescott ended his remarkable Mississippi State football career by leading the MSU Bulldogs to a solid and impressive win over the NC State Wolfpack.

Prescott accounted for 380 passing yards and 47 rushing yards as he led MSU’s offense to gain 569 yards of total offense. And most importantly, Prescott was able to lead the Bulldogs to a win against an upset minded NC State Wolfpack team that wanted this game to be a shootout.

Prescott was able to connect with a number of different pass catchers, but Fred Ross (7 receptions for 74 yards), De’Runnya Wilson (5 receptions for 96 yards) and Brandon Holloway (4 receptions for 78 yards) all thrived and had at least 70 yards receiving for MSU.

State simply couldn’t be stopped. And luckily enough for MSU football fans, NC State’s offense stalled out on a couple different occasions or made a few errors here and there.

And that’s how Mississippi State won 51-28.
