No. 11 Alabama (-1.5) @ Texas A&M (O/U 47)

Evan Ertel: Vegas Sportbooks are an institution. I am a stupid idiot. There has to be a reason this line is so low. I should take that as a red flag though, right? No, nuclear missile play on the Tide. No one has ever gotten rich betting against Nick Saban. Alabama -1.5

Justin Strawn: Thinking a Nick Saban-coached Alabama team can’t cover a 1.5-point spread against an unranked team seems like a really dumb decision. Alabama -1.5

Ethan Lee: I’m shocked this spread is so low. Texas A&M hasn’t looked great all season and while Alabama has been flawed this year, it’s not like the Aggies have been playing perfectly efficient and clean football. A&M’s defensive line has looked legit, but it’ll be interesting to see how the Aggies’ front seven fares when having to slow down Jalen Milroe. Alabama -1.5

John King: Max Johnson? Better than expected. Bama? Worse than expected. Is it that simple? Am I crazy for thinking A&M could win again against Alabama? Texas A&M +1.5

Andrew Miller: I expect this to be a close game. They’ve played close the last two years, Bama isn’t incredible, and A&M actually looks better. A&M will force Milroe to have to win with his arm, and that’s not a great spot for Bama to be in. With that being said, I still trust Alabama more overall, and 1.5 basically means pick who wins the game. Alabama -1.5

Ryan Strickland: This game is going to be close up until the very end. In very close matchups, I tend to lean towards who has the better coaching and that is obviously Alabama. A&M can definitely win this game outright though but I believe Bama gets out of there with a close win by 3. Alabama -1.5
