What’s going on in SEC football this week? Let’s examine the landscape and make some SEC picks that are absolutely, certainly, 100 percent sure to be without error.

We have an absolutely slammed SEC slate this week, with every team staying in-conference. They a not be the greatest matchups on paper, but that almost guarantees that things are going to get wild, especially given how the season has gone already.

Ryan Strickland is leading the pack with seven winners last week, I had 5, and Justin was the only other picker with a winning week, courtesy of the push in Ohio State versus Notre Dame. That said, we have seven more games picked for you this week, wrapped up with our best bets, where the team went 5-1 last week. Talk about free money!

Week 5 SEC Picks & Weekend Best Bets

No. 22 Florida @ Kentucky (-1.0) – O/U 44

Evan Ertel:  This feels like a gross game, but it feels like maybe Florida found something last week against UT? Need Kentucky to be bad to make me feel better about MSU so I’m going Florida here. Florida +1

Justin Strawn: Florida is getting a lot of love because they beat Tennessee last week. If Tennessee had actually looked good in previous games, I would feel the same. They haven’t though, so I’ll take Kentucky. Kentucky -1

Ryan Strickland: Taking the home team here to win. Not really much insight on this one. Both teams are just weird and I don’t know what to make of either one so I’m just going to go with the home-field advantage with such a tight line. Kentucky -1

Ethan Lee: I don’t trust either of these teams one bit right now, but Kroger Field is a tougher place to play than a lot of people will ever acknowledge. Give me Kentucky -1 here.

Andrew Miller: I feel the same as everyone else here. No good idea on this one. I’ll take the Cats. Kentucky -1

John King: I’m not sure how I really feel about Kentucky, but they play at home against a Florida team that hasn’t looked great outside of a surprise victory against Tennessee. I’ll take Kentucky -1
