The Mississippi State football team is welcoming the Alabama Crimson Tide to town. Let’s get familiar with Nick Saban’s latest team.

Welcome, Bulldog fans, to the 2023 Mississippi State football season. Each week, I am going to attempt to come up with five insightful, ground-breaking, thought-provoking, mind-boggling, and downright original questions.

Then, I will send them, with minimal notice, to a blogger that covers whoever MSU is set to play that week so that you can get to know who will be on the opposing sidelines when kickoff comes around.

I’ll learn something, you’ll learn something, we’ll laugh together, it’ll be a great time.

Brent Taylor from RollBamaRoll.com joins us this week to talk about the team just down Highway 82. Let’s go!

Realistically, what would you say is the worst-case scenario for the remainder of Alabama’s season? Would it be enough for fans to say the sky is falling, or just a one-year regression?

Worst case? I think Alabama could very easily lose two more games and fall to 9-3.

The Tide’s defense has looked to be much improved this year, thankfully, but if Milroe and the offensive line can’t figure things out and start looking like an actual collegiate offense (which, they did in the second half vs. Ole Miss, so there’s hope), then it could be a long season.
