Headed to Starkville to watch the Bulldogs face Arizona? Here’s what you need to know about the weather for this Mississippi State football game.

With week two of the 2023 Mississippi State football season upon us, some nice weather seems to be settling in to Starkville. And that will make the game between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Arizona Wildcats fun to keep up with.

Now, again, I’m no meteorologist. I work with words, not all of the math that goes into predicting what’s going to happen.

I can’t do any of that.

But I can write up a brief weather report for what’s going on in Starkville thanks to some quick research on this here internet. And thanks to the brilliant minds behind The Weather Channel (actual professionals who know what they’re doing, I assume), we can take a look at a Mississippi State football weather forecast.

And it sure looks like things are going to be beautiful in Starkville this weekend as Zach Arnett and the Mississippi State Bulldogs bring the Arizona Wildcats to Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field. All day Saturday should be nice and cozy and a joy to be outside.

Right around the time that folks are waking up, it’ll be about 65 degrees.

If you’re tailgating outside much throughout the afternoon, you can expect the temp to get to about 85 degrees. Which is a little warm, but still nice and cozy.

The game gets started at 6:30, which means that kickoff will see temps in the low 80s to the high 70s. Combine that with the slight breeze that should be moving all throughout the evening and Mississippi State football fans should be able to enjoy the game without worrying about the weather at all.

There’s not much in the way of chances for rain, but if you’d like to keep an eye on the radar, that would probably generally be a wise decision.
