College football media react to 2023 Mississippi State football uniforms

With uniform changes happening for the 2023 Mississippi State football season, media members are weighing in on the Bulldogs’ new look.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are going into the 2023 Mississippi State football season with a significantly updated uniform. The fresh, sleek look that MSU is wearing seems to hit an intersection of signifying a new era for the program while also bringing back fond memories of the past.

MSU recently unveiled a new football uniform combination that masterfully blends old school tradition with a modern, streamlined aesthetic. Mississippi State football fans should be excited about these changes to the style that the Bulldogs will be wearing thanks to this notable uniform overhaul.

And of course, something that certainly seems to grab the eye is at the top of the uniform. Take a gander at the helmet, which sure seemed to catch Brian Hadad’s attention during SEC Media Days.

Yep, that’s the beloved script “State” helmet logo right there representing Mississippi State University. And Hadad is far from the only media member who is discussing this helmet. While he doesn’t explicitly share his opinion here, plenty of folks sure did that.

Mississippi State also got a solid feature from Kendall Rogers. He’s no college football writer, but given the baseball ties to this logo, his thoughts seem to fit right in here:

The Bulldogs are entering into a new era. Some noteworthy changes have happened all over the place. Some of them have been devastating and tragic. But this is something fun and exciting. And it’s something that Mississippi State football fans should be able to rally around.
