The Mississippi State football team now knows its 2024 SEC opponents, so let’s make the very serious case for the Bulldogs winning them all.

The Mississippi State football team hasn’t even begun fall camp for the 2023 SEC football season yet, but since there are going to be two new teams in the conference next season, 2024 was the focus of the SEC football world last night.

Every team learned who they would play in conference in 2024.

For Mississippi State football fans, it was a tough draw. But life in the SEC means every week is a grind, and you just have to grin and bear it. Is it hard? Yes. Is it manageable? Not only yes, but I say Mississippi State fans can look for a W after every week.

Let’s start with the home games.

Arkansas Razorbacks

Arkansas has gotten the better of the Mississippi State football team more often having won 18 games, to the Bulldogs 14 games. But Mississippi State has won 8 of the last 11 meetings and karma somehow keeps ensuring that nothing truly great happens for Arkansas.

Result – a W for the Bulldogs.

Florida Gators

Florida has been a great program for basically the past 40 years. But Dan Mullen isn’t walking through that door.

Result – another W for the good guys.

Missouri Tigers

I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about the Missouri Tigers. But what you don’t know, can’t hurt you, right? Or something like that? I do know this will be another win for the Mississippi State football team,

Result – Dogs beat cats.

Texas A&M Aggies

There’s not enough room in this conference for two Maroon and White teams and the Mississippi State football team has been here a lot longer. Plus, Mississippi State has won five of the last seven games with the Aggies.

Result – No gigging in Starkville in 2024.

Now on to the road games.

Texas Longhorns

Did you know it has been 102 years since the Mississippi State football team lost a road game to the Texas Longhorns? It’s true. The last time Mississippi State played Texas on the road and lost was on November 11, 1921.

With that type of history, I can’t see Mississippi State losing to Texas on the road for the first time in over 100 years. Don’t come at me with silly things like they’ve only played them two times in Austin total in all those years. Bulldogs will roll.

Result – It’ll be beef rib for dinner in Austin

Georgia Bulldogs

Me: The Mississippi State football team has not won a game in Athens since 1956. I personally think that makes them due for a win against the other Bulldogs.

You: Wait, didn’t you just say that State would win in Texas because of something similar?

Me: Shhhhh…

Result – Normal colored Bulldogs emerge victorious

Tennessee Volunteers

The Tennessee Vols think they’re back. Well the other UT team joining the conference always thinks they’re back too.

Result – Maroon over orange

Ole Miss Rebels

The road team has won the past two meetings in the Egg Bowl, so road teams are obviously the way to go now. This trend obviously won’t apply to this season, but will definitely apply next season.

Result – The Egg stays in Starkville

So there you have it. There are the very serious, 100 percent surefire reasons for why the Mississippi State football team will win every single SEC game in 2024. No need to argue, it’s all spelled out for you.
