The Diamond Dawgs look to bounce back after the past two night’s tough losses.
The matchup between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Tennessee Volunteers will be played at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Here are some notes that you need to know before watching today’s Mississippi State baseball game:
Mississippi State Baseball could still use a win today even though they have already lost the series.
It is not fun knowing you have lost a series going into Sunday’s game, but it will still be important for Mississippi State to show up and grab a game from the Tennessee Volunteers.
Not only does winning today help the Bulldogs’ conference record grow, but it gives the Mississippi State Baseball team a huge momentum boost going into May with only three SEC series remaining and a chance to make the postseason.
Mississippi State Baseball could use a good outing from whoever ends up taking the mound today.
Pitching has been the problem all season for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
If the Diamond Dawgs want a shot at the postseason, the pitching staff and bullpen are going to have to start showing up starting today.
