Former Mississippi State Bulldogs’ cornerback, Emmanuel Forbes, was drafted as the No. 16 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Many NFL analysts had Emmanuel Forbes going in the first round, and last night solidified that guess with Emmanuel Forbes being the No. 16 overall pick to the Washington Commanders in this year’s NFL Draft.

The Washington Commanders have added a great cornerback to their secondary.

Emmanuel Forbes was born in Grenada, Mississippi about an hour and a half northwest of Starkville, Mississippi, where the football star would find himself playing college football.

Forbes graduated from Grenada High School in 2020, and he went on to play at Mississippi State University later that year.

Emmanuel Forbes put his stamp in the Mississippi State record books, and he added his name to one of the greatest cornerbacks to ever play at Mississippi State University.

The Diamond Dawgs dropped game one vs. the Tennessee Volunteers on Thursday night.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team made a comeback on Thursday night and made the game interesting in the ninth inning vs. the Tennessee Volunteers.

Unfortunately, the Bulldogs came up just short and lost the game in the bottom of the ninth inning.
