Mississippi State Baseball vs. Tennessee (Game Two): Start time, TV info, and more
By Landon Young
The Mississippi State baseball team is back on the road to take on the Tennessee baseball team in Game Two of an away SEC series.
Mississippi State baseball will play three games this weekend versus the Volunteers. Game 1 was won by the Volunteers by a score of 8-7.
Game Two will have its first pitch at 5:30 p.m. CT/6:30 p.m. ET on Friday evening.
The Diamond Dawgs look to bounce back after last night’s tough loss.
The matchup between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Auburn Tigers will be played at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Here are some notes that you need to know before watching today’s Mississippi State baseball game:
Mississippi State Baseball needs to forget about last night’s game.
After being down early last night, the Diamond Dawgs came back and made the game interesting last night, but they ended up falling just short of a win.
To win game two, the Bulldogs must forget about how last night’s game ended and use the momentum they had going.
Mississippi State Baseball could use a good outing from whoever ends up taking the mound today.
In Tuesday night’s Governor’s Cup, the Mississippi State Bulldogs found a rhythm at the mound they have not seen this season.
The Diamond Dawgs need to find that rhythm today to have a chance at taking the series from the No. 24 team in the country.
Although the Bulldogs are coming off a tough series loss vs. the Auburn Tigers, the Diamond Dawgs could really gain some momentum by taking the series from Tennessee this weekend.
