The Mississippi State Bulldogs Baseball team suffers defeat at Auburn.
The Mississippi State baseball team lost game one vs. the Auburn Tigers, 2-1. The Diamond Dawgs won game two by a score of 11-10. Game three was decided by a score of 12-11, and the Auburn Tigers had a walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Mississippi State had every chance to go on the road and win their third straight SEC baseball series, but they could not get the job done.
The Diamond Dawgs will take on the Ole Miss Rebels in the Governor’s Cup on Tuesday night.
After a heartbreaking weekend at Auburn, the Diamond Dawgs look to get back on track this Tuesday night at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Ole Miss Rebels will face off for the fourth time this season in the annual Governor’s Cup this Tuesday night.
