The Diamond Dawgs picked up their first SEC series win this past weekend in Tuscaloosa vs. the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Bulldogs took game one, lost game two, and won the rubber match on Saturday night in a hard-fought game.

This was a big momentum booster for Chris Lemonis and the Mississippi State baseball team.

The Diamond Dawgs look ahead to this weekend where they will face in-state rival, Ole Miss.

The Mississippi State baseball team hopes to continue its momentum this upcoming weekend when they face off against the Ole Miss Rebels.

Both Ole Miss and Mississippi State have struggled in SEC play this year, and both teams really want to come away with this weekend’s series win.

Super Bulldog Weekend Update

Not only will the Diamond Dawgs take on Ole Miss in a three-game series in this year’s Super Bulldog Weekend, but there are many more festivities.

The Mississippi State Football team will have its Maroon vs. White game on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi.
