The Mississippi State baseball team is back at Dudy Noble Field to take on the Arizona State University Sundevils in game three of a weekend series baseball matchup. Game three will have its first pitch at 1:00 p.m. CT/2:00 p.m. ET. The Diamond Dawgs look to continue their momentum after winning their first series of the season vs. the VMI Keydets and taking one of two from the ULM Warhawks in midweek games. The matchup between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Arizona State Sundevils will be played at Dudy Noble Field in Starkville, Mississippi.

The Mississippi State baseball team looks to win its second series of the 2023 college baseball season this weekend vs. the Arizona State Sundevils. The Diamond Dawgs showed spurts of excitement, especially from their batts, in the first series of the year.

Chris Lemonis is the first and only coach at Mississippi State University to win a national title, and he does not plan to stop with just one trophy. He believes this team is stacked full of talent, and they can make their way back to Omaha and bring the Bulldog faithful another trophy.

The Arizona State Sundevils are 4-0 after taking all three games from the San Diego State Aztecs. Both the Sun Devils and the Bulldogs will face much better talent this weekend.

This past weekend, there were so many names that I had not heard called until this year. This team has the potential to really grow. Again, you cannot base everything on the first series of the season, but there sure were a lot of young guys, and they all seemed to be very talented. Chris Lemonis has done his job recruiting these guys and getting them to come to play at Dudy Noble. Now, we are about to see the product of what Lemonis has worked at for three years.
