The Mississippi State basketball team is back on the road to take on the Ole Miss Rebels in an SEC basketball matchup. Today’s basketball game will tip off at 2:30 p.m. CT/3:30 p.m. ET. The Bulldogs look to bounce back after a devastating loss to the Kentucky Wildcats on Wednesday night. The matchup between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Ole Miss Rebels will be played at the Pavilion in Oxford, Mississippi.

Mississippi State basketball’s five-game winning streak came to a close on Wednesday night.
The winning streak was kicked off when the Mississippi State basketball team defeated the (No. 11 at the time) TCU Horned Frogs in a huge overtime victory. This was the best win of the season for Mississippi State, and the Bulldogs used that momentum and carried it over to beat the South Carolina Gamecocks, the Missouri Tigers, the LSU Tigers, and the Arkansas Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs were defeated by the Kentucky Wildcats on Wednesday night at the Humphrey Coliseum.
The Mississippi State basketball team is 17-9.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are 17-9 entering today’s SEC basketball matchup. The Bulldogs finished non-conference play with only one loss on the season. Mississippi State’s eight losses are against the Drake Bulldogs, the Alabama Crimson Tide (twice), the Tennessee Volunteers (twice), the Georgia Bulldogs, the Auburn Tigers, the Florida Gators, and the Kentucky Wildcats.
The Ole Miss Rebels are 10-16.
The Ole Miss Rebels are having a very tough season, and the Bulldogs look to take advantage of that and get back in the win column.
