Mississippi State vs. Auburn: Prediction and odds for week 10

My father played a large role in my addiction to college football and the Mississippi State football team. I have grown up watching, listening to, and traveling to SEC games all over the country with him. One of the conversations we tend to always have before the weekend is the betting lines. Now hear me out… We don’t actually place any bets, but we do seem to know how the games will end up. Every week, my dad and I will call each other to pick the SEC lines of the week.

Before the day kicks off at 11:00 a.m. CT, be sure to check out our picks. I am not saying that we’re always correct, but I am saying that we are usually close. We typically pick the Mississippi State Bulldogs no matter who they are playing so you might not want to use our advice in that game. The lines that we base our picks off of are found at FanDuel.com. Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.

Kentucky (-1.5) at Missouri

Dad: I’m leaning toward Kentucky today, but that’s a tough one. I’ll take Kentucky.

Landon: I like Kentucky to bounce back against a lesser opponent. Give me the Wildcats.

Florida at Texas A&M (-3)

Dad: I’ll take A&M. I think this one is a toss-up honestly.

Landon: I can’t pick Jimbo and the Aggies right now. Give me the Gators to go on the road and cover.

Tennessee at Georgia (-8.5)

Dad: Something tells me UGA might cover this, but I’ll take Georgia to win it in a close one with Tennessee covering.

Landon: Since I’m picking the line, I like Tennessee to cover, but I could see Georgia winning and Tennesee covering.

Liberty at Arkansas (-14.5)

Dad: I like Hugh Freeze to cover and possibly win this game. Go Flames!

Landon: FLAMES ARE COVERING TODAY. Freeze has those dudes moving. I like this one to be a close game with Arkansas pulling it out.

Alabama (-13.5) at LSU

Dad: Bama covers.

Landon: L… S… U! Give me the Tigers to cover at home.

South Carolina (-6.5) at Vanderbilt

Dad: I’ll take Beamer and South Carolina to cover.

Landon: Earlier this week, I picked South Carolina. Not anymore. I’ve got Vandy covering at home.

Auburn at Mississippi State (-12.5)

Dad: Most people are saying we won’t cover those points, but for the sake of pulling for my team, I’ll take the Bulldogs to win, 31-16.

Landon: Let’s get back on track today Bulldogs. 42-27 State.
