The Mississippi State Bulldogs were back at Davis Wade Stadium this past weekend and faced off against SEC West foe, the Texas A&M Aggies. The Mississippi State football team dominated the Aggies in a game that wasn’t even close. The Bulldogs defeated the Aggies 42-24.

From start to finish, the Mississippi State football team handled the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday afternoon. This was truly a game that fans dream about going to and having a good time. Will Rogers put up 329 yards through the air with 3 touchdowns, no sacks, and no interceptions. The ground attack was just as efficient as the Bulldogs running backs put up 144 yards and 1 touchdown.

We could talk about the air raid all day, but Zach Arnett and the Mississippi State defense is what won the game for the Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon. With a pick-six, fumble recovery, and an interception, this Mississippi State defense looked better than they have all season.

In this week’s episode of ‘Cowbell Off Campus,’ Landon Young and Addison Thigpen discuss what went right and what went wrong in last week’s game vs. the Texas A&M Aggies. They finish the podcast by picking the line for all of the SEC games in week five of college football.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are back home this Saturday morning. The Mississippi State football team hosts the Arkansas Razorbacks this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CT/12:00 p.m. ET. Mississippi State is currently an -8.5 point favorite according to Fanduel.com. This will be the 31st meeting between the Bulldogs and the Razorbacks. Last year, when the Mississippi State Bulldogs and the Arkansas Razorbacks faced off, the Bulldogs came up just short 31-28 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This year’s game will be played at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi.
