Mississippi State needs a competent, efficient, and zero turnover performance from its quarterbacks in Tuscaloosa. Fans have been calling for change at the position and want true freshman Will Rogers to start. I feel Leach will roll with the senior in KJ Costello.

Leach should have Costello on a very short leash and should replace him with Rogers if he starts to throw interceptions or refuses to run for drive sustaining first downs. The offensive line must also provide adequate protection regardless of who is taking the snaps. Whether it is Costello or Rogers, both need to make quick and accurate throws as I am almost 100% sure they will face a drop eight zone from the Alabama defense.
