Malik Heath scored the first touchdown of his Bulldog career against Texas A&M with a beautiful catch and run along the sideline, the only Bulldog offensive score of the day. In order for Mississippi State to find success through the air against Alabama, Health needs another breakout performance. He has the talent and ability to succeed in a passing offense like the Air Raid.

Mississippi State throws the ball around to many receivers but Health has been increasing his production each game. In the last three games, Heath had 5 catches for 27 yards vs Arkansas,  6 catches for 52 yards vs Kentucky, and  5 catches for 57 yards and 1 TD vs Texas A&M to lead the Bulldogs. His production must continue to increase and he has to be the focus of the passing game against Alabama.
