Where will the 2020 Mississippi State football NFL Draft prospects land in the 2020 draft? This mini Mock Draft gives some predictions.

The Mississippi State football program has seven players who have declared for the 2020 NFL Draft. Given the current draft order, this is where Bulldog fans might see some familiar faces drafted this year.

Things can change between now and April 23, but many of these predictions are based on team needs, which aren’t likely to be filled before the draft if they haven’t already been addressed.

There will undoubtedly be a few players who aren’t picked in the seven rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft, but there’s more than decent chance any of these players are picked up as undrafted free agents.

While it’s likely Brian Cole II isn’t picked in the 7-round draft process, he could still catch on as a UDFA with an NFL team. With the ties to his home state, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Detroit Lions offer a spot to Cole in training camp.

The Lions are one of many teams who will be looking for some defensive back depth on the cheap this season, and Cole could also find a role on special teams with Detroit.

That said, the chances of him making the 53-man roster would be pretty slim. Likely, if he performed up to the top of his game in training camp he’d get to stay on as a member of the practice squad.
