The Mississippi State basketball team had a scare against Georgia on Wednesday night, and they’ll try to keep their winning streak alive against South Carolina.

The 2018-19 Mississippi State basketball team went on the road Wednesday in a game they couldn’t afford to lose. The Georgia Bulldogs had just one SEC win in 2019, and the Bulldogs didn’t need a bad loss on their resume.

It wasn’t as pretty as Mississippi State basketball fans might have liked, but the Bulldogs escaped Athens with a 68-67 victory. They now welcome the South Carolina Gamecocks to Humphrey Coliseum on Saturday afternoon

In their first meeting of the 2018-19 season, the Mississippi State basketball team fell to the Gamecocks by five points in overtime. How can the Bulldogs get revenge? Host Justin Strawn answers that and more in this episode of the Maroon and White Audible.
