The Mississippi State baseball team will be seeking revenge against the team that swept them to open the 2018 college baseball season.

When the 2018 Mississippi State baseball season began, it got off to a rough start for the Bulldogs. Mississippi State had their sights set high, but were brought down a few notches after being swept in the season opening series.

The series did not ruin the Mississippi State baseball season however. Despite the sweep and having their head coach be dismissed from his position after the series, the Bulldogs rebounded and found their way in the College World Series semifinals at the end of the season.

The Mississippi State baseball team will be looking to get revenge over Southern Miss this weekend when the Golden Eagles travel to Starkville. Co-Site Expert Justin Strawn explains why he thinks the Bulldogs will be able to do so in this episode of the Maroon and White Audible.

Today’s show is hosted by Maroon and White Nation Site Co-Site Expert Justin Strawn, and it will air at least once a week and likely more throughout the year.
