In 2019, the Mississippi State baseball team has yet to lose a game. That’s pretty good. Not every team can start a season undefeated.
Chris Lemonis is undefeated! The newest head coach of the Mississippi State baseball team was doubted by many, but he has yet to lose a game while in Starkville. While many doubted his capabilities, Lemonis is doing better than just about every other coach in Mississippi State’s history.
Okay sure, yes, let’s drop the bit for a little bit. Then maybe we can pick it back up some. The 2019 Mississippi State baseball season just started. Things have just begun for the Mississippi State Bulldogs this year.
Again, MSU is literally one game into the 2019 season.
But it’s hard to find anything to complain about so far! For fans of the Mississippi State baseball team, that can certainly be a pretty rare occurrence. It’s not often that fans of the Mississippi State Bulldogs won’t have at least one thing to complain about when it comes to baseball.
A lot of that has to do with the fact that MSU is a baseball school, but still, it can be a bit much sometimes.
MSU being undefeated probably will not last forever. It seems highly unlikely that the Mississippi State Bulldogs will be able to run through the 2019 season, make it to the College World Series, and claim the championship.
It’s technically possible, but it’s almost certain not to happen.
So, while we have this brief moment of joy and happiness and peace and can celebrate the Bulldogs being perfect on the year, let’s do just that! We can all certainly enjoy MSU not having anything in the loss column, right?!
If (when) the Mississippi State baseball team loses, you can blame me and this column. It’s okay. It’s only fair.
