Quinton Torbor should be a huge addition at wide receiver for the Mississippi State football team. Joe Moorhead did a good job to get Torbor to sign and officially join the Bulldogs back in December.

The Mississippi State football team needs wide receivers to come in and make an impact sooner rather than later. There’s no guarantee that Torbor will make an immediate impact for the Bulldogs, but having him as a member of this Mississippi State football recruiting class was crucial for Joe Moorhead and the Bulldogs’ coaching staff.

Like many other Mississippi State football recruits, Torbor signed early with the Bulldogs and made his decision official and final during the early signing period this past December. His addition to this Mississippi State recruiting class is a necessary one for this team.

Torbor is 6-2 and 182 pounds coming to Starkville from Destrahan, Louisiana. The talented three-star wide receiver drew interest from several programs around the country including Auburn, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

However, he stuck with Mississippi State over all of them.

The three-star signee was recruited to join the Mississippi State football team by Charles Huff and Luke Getsy, both of whom are no longer with the program as they left for other opportunities.

Torbor was the first of 14  players to sign with Joe Moorhead’s team back in December. Now, he looks to become an impact player for the Mississippi State Bulldogs at a position that has been a weakness for the offense over the past couple of seasons.

He certainly has all of the physical tools necessary to make plays happen for MSU.
