Charles Cross is one of the most valuable members of the 2019 Mississippi State football recruiting class. Getting him to sign back in December and enroll shortly thereafter was a huge move for Joe Moorhead.

Joe Moorhead and the Mississippi State football team landed a huge asset in Charles Cross. Cross is one of the best offensive linemen in the country and he officially became a Mississippi State Bulldog during the early signing period in December and then enrolled in classes just after that.

Cross is definitely the most talented recruit that the Bulldogs are bringing in as part of the 2019 Mississippi State recruiting class. He’s a 6-foot-5 and 270 pound, five-star offensive lineman according to 247 Sports and he drew plenty of interest from all sorts of teams across the country.

The Laurel, Mississippi native decided to stay in-state for his college career and picked the Mississippi State Bulldogs over offers from Southern California, Florida State, Auburn, LSU, Mizzou, and Ole Miss.

Cross, being one of the highest rated offensive linemen in the country, is certainly a huge addition to the 2019 class.

MSU’s Marcus Johnson acted as the primary recruiter for Cross and Johnson’s efforts certainly paid off for the Mississippi State football team. Cross is the No. 2 rated recruit to come out of the state of Mississippi during this recruiting cycle and he’s Mississippi State’s only five-star recruit in this class.

He certainly has the potential to make an immediate impact on the Mississippi State football team and could even see the field this season.
