Five thoughts on Mississippi State football crushing Stephen F. Austin

This was the first game of Mississippi State’s season and subsequently it became the first win of Mississippi State’s season.

The Bulldogs had no issue taking care of the Stephen F. Austin State Lumberjacks. But honestly, that fact shouldn’t surprise anyone. SFA is by no means a powerhouse program and it shouldn’t shock even casual college football fans that the Bulldogs would dispatch of the Lumberjacks with ease.

SFA was outmatched and simply couldn’t keep up, even with Mississippi State not having its starting quarterback for the game.
