Lee Witherspoon

With Aeris Williams graduating, the Bulldogs needed another running back to come in and help add depth to the roster. The Mississippi State football team got that and then some with the addition of Lee Witherspoon.

Witherspoon had a great high school career and set plenty of state records during his time in high school in Stevenson, Alabama. He’s fast, dynamic, and should provide the Bulldogs with an explosive spark whenever he touches the field.

The three-star running back weighs in at 5-10 and 180 pounds, so he’s a bit lighter than some of MSU’s recent running backs, but that could provide the Bulldogs with plenty of options as Moorhead shapes the future of this offense.
