Quinton Torbor

The first commit to actually sign with the Bulldogs was Quinton Torbor. A three-star receiver from Destrahan, Louisiana, Torbor was sought after by several high profile schools. Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Memphis, and several others offered him scholarships, but he stuck with the Mississippi State football team.

Quinton Torbor has actually been committed to the Mississippi State football team for several months now after stating his intent to come to Starkville back in early April. Charles Huff was his primary recruiter.

Torbor is a dynamic addition to a wide receiver corps that could certainly use some help. Standing at 6-2 and weighing in at 182 pounds makes him versatile enough to line up at several different spots in Joe Moorhead’s offense.

At that height, Torbor can certainly be a deep threat, has a big enough frame to block, and should also be able to line up in the slot if called upon.
