Auburn: Mississippi State wins 23-9 (Grade A)

This is one of the games that helped salvage the season. The Mississippi State football team was looking at the possibility of losing five straight games if they couldn’t find a way to fix their ailing offense.

The Bulldogs got back to their running game, and held the Auburn offense in check the entire evening. It showed a willingness to at least bend a little bit from Joe Moorhead, and the Bulldogs won the game in somewhat convincing fashion.
